Your dog or cat’s go kit should include in its first aid kit a pre-measured dose for your pet of hydrogen peroxide in a squeeze bottle (1tsp/15lbs). This would be used to induce vomiting if needed, in case of accidental poisoning/ingestion of toxic substances which can occur more in an uncontrolled/unfamiliar environment such as when you are evacuated or staying with a non-pet owner.
