PSCS reached out to the Calgary Humane Society and Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society with an offer to help during the recent flooding in Alberta should they need extra volunteers and/or supplies. These two organizations along with the many, many good hearted people of Alberta managed to rescue, shelter and reunite hundreds of animals displaced by the floods. Their work is not yet done and although they did not require our assistance during the event they still need help in other ways.
PSCS strongly urges everyone to go onto their websites and/or face book pages to see if as individuals and caring people you can help our neighbours get through the next phase.
There is a long road ahead to rebuild and heal.
